Legal Advice Service

For the last few years, we have been running a free legal advice service for members and non-members using our services and last year we assisted 125 people with their legal problems.

Our aim is to provide a friendly and personal one stop shop legal advice service in all common law areas, including immigration, for those oppressed by the law and overwhelmed by the legal process.

Our legal service, the Falkland Road Legal Advice Service, is a fully insured service run by our in-house lawyer Christopher Papaloizou. Christopher is a barrister called to the bar in 2004 and has experience of all common law areas. The service is regulated by both the Quality Advice Service and the Office of the Immigration Commissioner [OISC] and we work closely with other non-governmental agencies across Camden and beyond.

Last year the legal service won 19 of 20 tribunal hearings in the welfare and employment sectors and we arranged 4 out of court settlements in our client’s favour for a combined total of £39,500.

We run a free legal drop-in service every Monday between 1.30pm to 4.00pm for all members and non-members.
